Erick Sheftic, MD, Psychiatrist

Erick Sheftic (he/him) received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from The College of Charleston, an MD from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and completed Psychiatry residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

He is passionate about mental health care for people experiencing homelessness and has been an active volunteer physician at the MEDiC Mental Health clinic since residency, providing psychiatric assessment and medication support as well as teaching medical students about the intersection of psychiatry and the social determinants of health.

Erick's approach to patient care includes versatility, creativity, straightforwardness, and genuineness. He hopes to contribute to the mission of Catalyst for Change by using his knowledge of medications and therapy to help improve mental well-being for people experiencing homelessness.
