Rae Tompson, MA

CCS Provider

Rae Tompson (they/them) is a team member coming in with an interesting background. Rae grew up in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, before attending UW- Eau Claire to obtain their Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies. During their time in undergrad Rae worked as a youth mentor to high risk youth. Rae provided skill building and character development mentoring. After graduating during Covid, Rae went on to UW Stout to get their Master’s Degree in School Counseling. During Grad School, Rae had the opportunity to work within the Juvenile Detention Center in Eau Claire County, providing emotional learning and independent living lessons. They were also able to work within an alternative high school to support students with incredibly high needs. Prior to CFC, Rae’s first job was working in southern Wisconsin as a High School Counselor. 

With a strong background in human development, Rae is excited to bring that knowledge and apply it to adults as well as youth. This background also feeds into Rae’s approach of meeting every client where they are at and using a trauma informed approach. Rae is excited for this new role and to support individuals in a new and creative way.
