Elizabeth Spake (she/her) graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelors in Social Work. Previously she worked as a financial and social services advocate for adults with intellectual disability. She interned with the YWCA of Mankato, MN as a program development and research intern working with immigrant women and families.

She is passionate about advocacy education. She believes that the first step to a better future is learning how to speak out against injustice.
